We badly need a helper. Her priority is to take good care of our son. Though I'm on indefinite leave our chief nurse is already asking me when I will be able to go back to work. It is because I told them that we already have a helper few weeks ago but unfortunately she is going home on July 20. She told me her mother is sick and she is needed there. I have no choice but to let her go. Really, Nowadays  it is hard to find a helper. A helper who is kind, diligent and trustworthy.

I have been away for quite sometime. I have been busy with my new role now as a mom to a 5 months old little boy. I wanted to be here regularly but my time doesn't permits me so. I miss blogging so much. I hope I could find time to publish a post once or twice a week and visit your page my fellow bloggers.

It was Friday the 13th of 2010 that my phone got stolen. It was a very bad experience. I realized that something bad would really occur during Friday the 13th. Today is Friday, January 13, 2012. Things went out smoothly. I can now attest that everything is just a coincidence. Nothing horrible happened to me. In fact something good happened. So, I guess things happened for a reason. Anything bad and good can occur in any day of our life. We should always ask for God's guidance and blessing.

It's been 3 months since the last time I posted here as much as I wanted to post on a regular basis I just cant. Most of the time after office I am busy taking care of my little boy. We don't have yet a helper. Nowadays, it's hard to find one that can be trusted. I enjoy being with him. Anyway, I just hope that soon I'll be able to be here regularly. I missed blogging so much. Thank you so much to all of you who are still visiting my simple abode.

I'm back from blogging after a week. Well, the reason is that I gave birth to a healthy baby boy last September 9, 2011 via normal spontaneous delivery. I'm still recovering and gaining strength. I’m hoping to be really well in the next 2 weeks. I can say that giving birth is really hard. I now understand the feeling of all mothers with regard to giving birth because I have experienced it and gone through the pain. But everything is worthy upon seeing our baby.

Anyway, I really thank God that I’m safe and he is healthy. I thank him that my baby is okay after ingesting a small amount of his meconium. He also experienced transient tachypnea after birth. Laboratory tests and x-ray was done few hours after birth. We are glad that results were normal and he was then roomed in the next day. We stayed at the hospital for 2 days.

I would just like to thank the hospital staffs that were there during that time; though they would not be able to read this. I would like to say thank you to my ob, anesthesiologist and to all the nurses from different department. They did not charge professional fee since I am an employee there and so we just gave them something to remember. My husband is the one who chose the token and paid it as well. Lol!

Phew! Time really fly so fast because now is already September. The start of "Ber" months and this means hearing a little Christmas song as well as seeing different Christmas lanterns. The first Christmas song I heard today on television is Jingle Bells. It was shown on the news that in some area they are already busy creating different kinds of Christmas lantern to be sold. I already receive a Christmas gift from our Lord and it is our baby Nathan. I am due next week. I’m so excited! Wow! Christmas is in the air.

Joy

Two more weeks to go and I'll be on maternity leave. Two months without the office work and two months of taking care of our coming baby. I’m so excited to see him yet nervous. I am going to deliver at the hospital where I work. I have no choice. I am working at the hospital so I need to deliver there. In addition to that, financially it is of great help because of the discount. Anyway, I trust that God will take care of us especially during the day he will come to see the world. I am praying for a normal spontaneous delivery. It’s less expensive with fastest recovery. In the span of two months there would be no salary yet the Social Security System will pay me which is nice lol!

Ina-Tay

I prayed for the rain to stop because at dawn we are going to accompany my sister to the airport. She’s leaving for Taiwan. God did answer my prayer. It did not rain on our way to the airport. We arrived there safe and sound. We’re very early. It is not obvious that we are excited. Lol! Anyway, I admired her for having the courage to work abroad. She did not mind though it would be her first time. We have seen that she’s very determined to go for it. So we just supported her. We are praying for her success at the foreign country. We pray for her safety as well as for her good health. May God always guide and protect her there.

We log in most of the time to our Facebook account as much as we do with our email account. We visit our account for updates and notifications. What’s in and what’s out. Facebook has been our medium of communication with our loved ones. It has also become our little journal because of posting whatever emotions we have. It unleashes our feelings. In return we gain something through the comments and likes of our status.

Like all other things Facebook has its advantage and disadvantage. Our instrument here is our words. We know how powerful our words are right? It can make or break a person. It is very common nowadays that you talk about someone you dislike in facebook by assigning them a pen name and by using other language. You talk nonstop about them since you think they wouldn’t know anything about it. But luck is on the side of that person you were talking about. That person was able to gain access to your conversations. Hence, the war begins. Is Facebook the culprit?

I’m counting the days until my delivery as well as the days when I will finally file a resignation. I am not happy anymore in my work place. The environment is not healthy anymore; gossips here, there and everywhere. I don’t like that. I just want to work and do the best I can to produce a work with good quality. I guess things like this do happen in most companies. It’s inevitable. It’s just that I am not prepared nor have been prepared for it. This is my first job anyway. I really want to move out and start anew. This time I will be wiser. I will not be affected with the negative things that are happening around me. I will just do my work and improve it. Goodness! Two months is still long. I am now determined to find another job. Sail away from my comfort zone.

My husband first Father's day celebration because he is a first time daddy. We woke up early and washed our piles of laundry. We weren’t able to do it the other day because we attended my office mate wedding. After the laundry thing we went to the mall early to attend the Sunday mass as well as to deposit at BDO. Then head over to Festival Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa to celebrate Father’s day. First stop is at Tom’s World wherein we did not win our target stuff toys. Maybe it is not yet our lucky day. There’s no more tokens left so we decided to eat lunch at Racks. Indeed a luscious lunch with the first time daddy.

We stroll, canvass for the next thing to have and look for slippers to buy. Then we bought snacks for mommy at Wendy’s and also got frosty for ourselves. We drove back home and drop by at Puregold to buy my milk, flowers for daddy, and some household needs.

There is an amusement area and he was enticed to buy tokens. We bought 4 tokens. Again we tried our luck to get some stuff toys. Luckily honey won and I did not get anything. Too bad! By the way, he got a cute sponge bob. Indeed his lucky day.

After that we visited the tomb of my father-in-law to greet him a Happy Father’s Day. We didn’t fail to visit his grave especially during special occasions. He will always be remembered. I can say that he has been a great father. Anyway, Happy Father’s day also to my father. I just sent him a message since he is miles away from me.

I did not go to work since it is my birthday. We have a birthday leave. Thanks for this privilege. I had my me time. Anyway, I woke up early and waited for my husband to arrive from work. Oh my baby was so active early in the morning. The kicking and moving awakens me. Maybe because he/she knows that it's my birthday. Lol!

When my husband's arrived we ate spaghetti and chicken together that my mother in law cooked. Yehey! After two days we are able to eat breakfast together. Our work schedule is not the same so we can't be together for breakfast. We can't go out for my birthday just like before because of his work schedule. So we just went out to buy cake, chicken and barbecue. He already gave me a gift as well as my mother in law. I'm already contented with this. Thank you so much daddy honey and mommy.

I was overwhelmed with the birthday greetings that I received via facebook and text messages. Thank you so much guys. Thank you so much mama and papa. God bless you all! I’m very much thankful to our Almighty God for another year of my life to be with my family, friends and relatives. I'm here on earth for 25 years already and looking forward for more years to celebrate life. I am very much grateful for all the blessings that God always shower into my life. I'm very much blessed to have my husband and our coming baby. I am wishing for bright future ahead, safe delivery of our baby on September, happy married life, advancement in work/career, good health for all of us and more success.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mommy’s in the whole wide world. This is my late Mother’s Day post and greeting here in blogosphere. It is also my first Mother’s Day celebration. My husband treats us to a luscious lunch yesterday in Kenny Rogers Roasters at Festival Mall, Alabang. Then, we stroll and played at Tom’s World. Too bad, I did not win anything. Anyway, the important thing is I enjoyed my first Mother’s day celebration even though I did not get anything at Tom’s World. Lol! The weather was bad upon going home because of the typhoon. I was glad that we arrived home safe and sound. Also, we were able to go to church.

A holiday since it is Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday. This day commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. Anyway, some who doesn't have work today are busy at the church, others just stay at home and the rest are spending their holiday at the beach. By the way, I am just here at our house. I woke up at around eight in the morning ate breakfast and then started cleaning some area of the house. After eating lunch I started doing the laundry. Such a tiring day for me. I hate washing clothes but got no choice. lol! I should really be wise in planning the household chores to avoid exhaustion.

I had a free ultrasound just this afternoon while some are busy with the Philhealth inspection. I saw my baby. We cannot yet predict if it is boy or girl because I am just on my 4^th month. I was so happy. He/She is already big. I saw his/her heart beating. I don’t know why I was not able to hear it perhaps it has something to do with the machine audio.

Anyway, I heard my baby’s heartbeat using Doppler last March 26 upon my check up. I was so amazed seeing him/her moving. The feeling is really unexplainable. I am very happy to see my baby again thru ultrasound. I can’t wait to see him/her into this world. I am so excited.

I knew it! I really need to have a planner. This will help me organize stuffs that I need to accomplish. Anyway, I have bought one last January but I was not able to continue writing in it. So this time I need to use it wisely to help me become organized. Okay, starting today I'm going to use it. Do you have a planner? How does it help you?

Graduation is the most awaited day for every students and parents from all school levels. I know every parent is happy and proud that despite today’s hardship they were able to support their child’s education up to graduation.Happy are those children whose parents know the value of education.

Anyway, I just want to congratulate my youngest brother though he might not be able to read this. Lol! He is a graduating high school student with honor. Your efforts have been rewarded. We are proud of your achievements. We will just be here by your side. Continue to do well in school. Good luck in the new chapter of your life.

We know how important time is to everyone of us. Time is so precious that I shouldn't waste it. I should be doing something worthwhile. Something that is beneficial to me and could help me grow more as a better person. There are times that I regret not having to do all the planned things for the day. Mainly, I was not able to allot time in everything that I want to accomplish. It only means that my time were not use wisely. How about you?Were you able to use your time sensibly?

I learned that I am already pregnant last January 11, 2011. My officemates are teasing me that I might be pregnant because of some noticeable changes in me. I get tired and hungry easily which is not normal of me. My husband also notices my voracious appetite hence mock me of being pregnant. Because of that I decided to buy a pregnancy test kit without everyone’s knowledge. I don’t want to disappoint them specially my husband.

My first test was in the evening upon arriving home. It is negative. There is only one line and I got disappointed. He already wanted to be a father and I wanted to fulfill it. Then after three days I took a test again. I did it first thing in the morning. Voila! There are two lines. I did not told him immediately because there is still some hesitation because the second line is blurred. But I feel something. I felt that it is really positive.

I went to work without telling him about it. I want to reveal it right after but I decided I should tell him the news when I am a 100% sure. I talked to a trusted friend about it and handed her my pregnancy test kit. She was ecstatic about it and confirmed that is really positive though the second line is somewhat not that bright red in color. She said it was like her pregnant test a year ago.

I too was overjoyed of that blessing. They are forbidding me to text him because they wanted me to see his reaction that he is going to be a father soon. But I was stubborn. I can’t wait to tell to my husband the super good so I sent him a message thru text. He thought I am just joking but afterwards he believes me. He immediately bought me ANMUM. Lol!

I'm not over yet of feeling disgusted on how my office uniform turned out. Oh my goodness! It really doesn't fit me at all. I look like my McDonalds with pants and a walking hanger with my blouse. Oh My Goodness! And so I have to send it to another sewer for alteration. I can't really wear and be proud of it. I did not told them to make it as maternity uniform because my tummy is not that big yet. I'm only 11 weeks pregnant. I can still wear my pants. So my measurement would still be the same with a little adjustment. Anyway, I hope the new sewer can give justice to my office uniform. Lol!
